Position Title: Licensed Plumber
Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified Plumber to support operations in government facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and maintaining plumbing systems within designated buildings. The work schedule is Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the upkeep of plumbing systems and building infrastructure.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel on air system repairs.
- Diagnose issues with all plumbing equipment on-site.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on plumbing systems.
- Report deficiencies and recommend corrective actions to supervisors.
- Oversee maintenance staff and ensure quality of work.
- Monitor subcontractor activities and provide necessary reports.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Plumber License.
- A minimum of three years of experience in the maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial plumbing systems, including:
Water fountains, filtration systems, restroom facilities, backflow preventers.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Demonstrated knowledge of plumbing tools and equipment.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an ISSA TS with SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and push up to 100 lbs.
- Capability for prolonged standing and walking.
- Manual dexterity and mobility for handling equipment and supplies.
- Frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
