Senior Machinist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Machinist to join our team at DES MICRO PRECISION GROUP LLC in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in setup and operation of HAAS CNC lathes/mills, as well as other machine types.

• Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision parts, including adjusting tool lengths and offsets as necessary.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate manufacturing processes.
• Perform first article inspections to guarantee quality control standards.
• Liaise with production teams to optimize workflow and meet deadlines.

• At least 5 years of experience as a HAAS CNC lathe/mill setup or operator preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., engineering) is an asset.
• Mastery of Mastercam programming software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
• Excellent math and geometry skills, with practical knowledge of spatial reasoning and problem-solving techniques.

• Experience machining aluminum and stainless steel components.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
