As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, perform various tasks, and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and maintaining patient records.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers, and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
- Assist with clinical services, such as collecting and labeling blood/urine samples, and coordinating with healthcare providers.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
