Position Details:
ChristianaCare HomeHealth is currently seeking a Full-Time LPN. The ideal candidate will serve the Newark, DE area, working day shifts, with one weekend per month and two holidays annually. This role includes a sign-on bonus for eligible external candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer skilled nursing care and prescribed treatments to geriatric patients in their homes.
- Provide a range of care services, including Cardiac Care, Foley Catheter management, Pulmonary Care, and Ostomy Care.
- Educate patients and their families on care procedures, disease management, and nutritional guidance.
- Participate in discharge planning for patients.
- Applicants must hold a current DE LPN license or a compact state license, along with one year of LPN experience. Previous experience in Home Healthcare and Med-Surgical settings is preferred.
