Job Title: Perioperative Float Nurse

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Perioperative team as a Float Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

About the Role:
  • As a Perioperative Float Nurse, you will be responsible for providing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in various specialties.
  • You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • With a focus on patient safety and satisfaction, you will be expected to maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with colleagues and patients, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required.
  • Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse licensure required.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • PACU experience strongly preferred.
  • Preoperative holding and evaluation experience preferred.
  • ASPAN membership and CPAN/CAPA certification preferred.
