Position Overview
This role offers crucial administrative and analytical support for the management of departmental initiatives and projects. Responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of essential data and information for assigned programs, resolving discrepancies related to expense allocations, and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to support departmental objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage logistics and data for assigned programs and projects.
2. Develop and maintain accounting and scheduling systems for effective oversight of initiatives.
3. Track and manage contracts and billing processes related to assigned projects.
4. Support program audit activities in collaboration with management.
5. Engage in professional development activities to maintain and enhance required knowledge and skills.
6. Perform other related duties as necessary.
Qualifications
Education:
Required: High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Healthcare Management, Business Management, or a related field
Preferred: Additional degrees, experience, and/or certifications may be combined to meet minimum qualifications.
Experience:
Required: Five years of experience in a financial analysis role
Preferred: Experience within the healthcare sector.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in data entry and retrieval using various software applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, databases, and spreadsheets.
- Ability to work independently and manage high-pressure situations while maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and judgment skills.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory and accrediting agency standards.
Physical and Environmental Demands
This position primarily involves sedentary work, requiring occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force. Employees may need to sit for extended periods, with brief periods of walking or standing.
