About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP EHS Functional Analyst to join our team at 1872 Consulting. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and developing complex solutions using SAP Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) modules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert consulting in SAP ERP Systems to clients and senior IT leadership to identify and satisfy business needs.
  • Responsible for solution design and implementation involving SAP Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S).
  • Expected to be the SAP functional lead on one or more projects, reviewing deliverables by SAP consultants, accountable for SAP delivery on assigned projects.
  • Analyze end-to-end complex business processes and information needs of clients in one or more business functional areas (may include external entities).
  • Partner with business teams, technical analysts, architecture, and strategy organizations to develop strategies and plans to integrate SAP to total solutions.
  • Evaluate and document alternatives that will provide the most effective solutions to complex business problems.
  • Responsible for SAP RICEFW (Report, Interface, Conversion, Enhancements, Forms, and workflow) objects development in work management area for projects, enhancements, and production support.
  • Responsible to prepare requirements documents, As-Is, To-Be processes, and identify gaps.
  • Design system processes to bridge the gap, build prototypes, prepare functional specifications, prepare test plans, and test scripts.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and obtain business sign-off.
  • Provide SAP subject matter expertise to relevant functional areas and ensure best practices are adapted.
  • Responsible for overall SAP solution and SAP interfaces to other SAP and non-SAP systems.
Requirements
  • 7 years of designing, configuring, and developing complex solutions using SAP Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) modules.
  • SAP S/4 EH&S implementation and/or support experience.
  • Proficient in writing requirements documents, functional specifications, and preparing business process flows.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in SAP EH&S Cloud solutions, e.g., SAP EHS Workplace and SAP Asset Manager (SAM), and/or SAP Field Service Management (FSM).
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and integration with other SAP modules, e.g., SAP EAM, SAP MM, SAP HCM, Success Factors, SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM), SAP Project Systems (PS).
  • Understanding of SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), SAP Finance (FICO), SAP Human Capital Management (HCM), Success Factors, SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM), SAP Project Systems (PS).
  • Utility Health and Safety experience.
  • SAP EH&S certification is preferred (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - Environment, Health, and Safety with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP7).
