Job Description

Zachry Group is seeking a skilled Painter Helper to join our team. As a Painter Helper, you will assist experienced painters in completing various painting tasks, ensuring high-quality results and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Assist painters in preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning and sanding.
  • Help mix and apply paint and coatings as required.
  • Support the construction, reinforcement, and dismantling of pre-constructed concrete forms.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of industrial painting experience.
  • Knowledge of materials, tools, and processes involved in basic painting techniques.
  • Ability to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Reliable transportation and required tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Zachry Group employee or former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc.
  • Experience working with scaffolding, insulation, and painting.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, sit, and lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and stairways, and work off platforms/scaffolding using fall protection.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
