Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Sports and Recreation Youth Development Coach to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality sports and recreation programs that promote physical fitness, socialization, and character development among young people.

About the Role: As a Sports and Recreation Youth Development Coach, you will be responsible for creating engaging and inclusive sports and recreation programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our members. You will also collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless delivery of programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and delivering sports and recreation programs that promote physical fitness, socialization, and character development.\
  • Collaborating with other staff members to ensure seamless delivery of programs and services.\
  • Providing coaching and mentorship to members to enhance their athletic skills and confidence.\
  • Maintaining accurate records of program participation, attendance, and outcomes.\
  • Conducting ongoing assessments and evaluations to ensure program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.\
  • Building and maintaining relationships with parents, guardians, and community partners to foster a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.\
  • Leading team-building exercises and group discussions to promote teamwork, communication, and conflict resolution skills.\
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with local sports organizations and community groups to provide opportunities for members to engage in extracurricular activities.\
  • Implementing strategies to address barriers to participation and ensure equal access to programs and services.\
  • Remaining up-to-date with best practices and trends in youth development and sports programming.\
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge.\
  • Providing support and guidance to colleagues and supervisors as needed.\
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.\
  • May be required to drive a Club van and have a valid driver's license.\
  • Requires flexibility and adaptability to meet changing program needs and priorities.\
  • Estimated salary: $42,000-$62,000 per year.\

  • The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience working with youth.\

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field, knowledge of youth development, ability to design and deliver high-quality sports and recreation programs, ability to work with diverse populations, ability to communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and community partners.
