Join Alert Ambulance, a leading provider of mobile healthcare solutions, as we seek a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our Medical Respite program.
Position Details- Location: Warwick, RI
- Employment Type: Part-Time
- Salary: $40.00 per hour
- Shift: Day
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the medical care and coordination for all patients in the Medical Respite.
- Conducting basic vital signs assessments and medication reconciliation.
- Administering medications and providing basic wound care.
- Documenting each patient encounter accurately.
- Collaborating effectively with provider groups and other Medical Respite staff.
It is essential to maintain open communication regarding patient care and appointments with the care team and providers.
Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Clinical assessment experience.
- A commitment to excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Current and active LPN license in Rhode Island.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Immunization records (MMR, Varicella, TDap, and Hep B).
- Successful completion of a background check and a clean driving record.
- Completion of a TB test and fit test upon hire.
