Shift:

3 North is a specialized 29-bed telemetry unit catering to patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI), post-cath lab procedures, medical cardiology, stroke, and other medical conditions requiring cardiac monitoring. The team comprises Registered Nurses, Patient Care Technicians, Unit Clerks, and Patient Care Facilitators, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. You will be responsible for performing essential procedures and providing technical services and support to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver and coordinate nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process.

- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.

- Employ critical thinking to make informed decisions and maintain accountability for the conditions of assigned patients.

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan and implement care in accordance with hospital policies and legal standards.


- Assess the needs of patients and their families, providing appropriate education to facilitate discharge planning, and refer to community resources for continuity of care.


- Utilize a holistic approach, considering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, safety, and related factors relevant to the age of the patients served in the designated service area.

- Demonstrate initiative in enhancing the quality of care, ensuring patient and employee safety, and improving customer service.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.

- A minimum of 75-hour Certified Nursing Assistant certification is required.
- Indicate on your application the specific CNA certification you possess (75-hour, 120-hour, or 150-hour). Only applications with this information will be considered.

- This position requires Level III (Medium) Work as defined by the Department of Labor.
