Maintenance Technician

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Evonik Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair services in various crafts, including electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, and millwrighting.
This position is ideal for individuals with a strong understanding of maintenance history, equipment, and facilities. You will work closely with our maintenance team to provide mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and knowledge to our Milton site.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair services in various crafts
- Provide mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and knowledge to the Milton site
- Repair, rebuild, or replace mechanical, automated, and control valves
- Perform and/or coordinate preventative maintenance per schedule and/or standards and procedures
- Develop and review related maintenance procedures
- Ensure all work is thoroughly completed and in compliance with local/state/federal regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent or associates degree in a technical or mechanical field of study
- 3+ years' experience in a maintenance role or maintenance background
- General knowledge of equipment, instrumentation, piping, electrical, and mechanical systems
