Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Abb Holdings Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing data entry, analyzing outbound shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage data entry recording and analyze all outbound shipments on internal database
  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, and shelves by hand
  • Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers
  • Serve as point of contact for daily logistic operations and outbound shipments to distributor partners
  • Responsible for scheduling outbound transportation needs, including but not limited to LTL truckload, Intermodal, air, and small parcel (both domestic and international)

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with minimum of one-year experience in similar field
  • Proficient skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to learn, understand and follow company requirements for employee safety, product quality and productivity
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to work in a high noise environment that requires standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting or pushing weights up to 50 pounds, with long periods of sitting to perform data entry
  • Flexible in terms of shift scheduling, including scheduling for weekends, overtime and holiday shifts
  • Have a strong commitment and ability to follow health and safety rules and procedures and utilize all required safety equipment
  • Knowledge of Inventory software and Manufacturing software
  • Experienced in ERP / SAP systems
  • Ability to use company mainframe computer systems(s)
  • Ability to make quality/ repair decisions based on visual inspections of products within prescribed guidelines
