About the Job

Solutions by Sanford is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Traveling Nurse Specialist. As a Traveling Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to patients. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identifying patient needs and developing individualized care plans.
  • Implement and evaluate patient care plans, making adjustments as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program, including but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
