Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivers meals that are both appealing and visually pleasing in a timely manner.
  • Serves food while adhering to established portion control guidelines.
  • Participates in routine cleaning tasks as per established protocols.
  • Maintains cleanliness of tables, food preparation areas, refrigerators, and freezers.
  • Performs sweeping and mopping of floors as instructed.
  • Transports soiled utensils to the washing area.
  • Returns sanitized utensils to their designated storage locations.
  • Cleans and sanitizes utensils as directed.
  • Ensures workspaces are tidy, dry, and free from hazardous materials.
  • Prepares meal trays, food carts, and dining areas as directed.
  • Assists the cook in meal preparation and in gathering food supplies for upcoming meals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with industrial dishwashing equipment and kitchen sanitation processes is required, along with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • COVID vaccination is mandatory.
  • Ability to read and comprehend resident tray cards is essential.
  • Must be capable of lifting, pushing, or moving a minimum of fifty (50) pounds to a height of at least three (3) feet and transporting such weight a minimum distance of twelve (12) feet.
