Evaluate and assess the needs of patients and formulate comprehensive treatment plans; Provide physical therapy services in various settings, including acute care, outpatient, and long-term care.

Conduct therapy to correct conditions revealed during assessment. Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with organization's policies, procedures, and code of conduct.

  • Provide therapy services, including modalities, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises, as outlined in the plan of care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other professionals in planning and conducting therapy to restore patient health.
  • Supervise physical therapy assistants, aides, and other support staff as required.
  • Complete required documentation of physical therapy activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge:

General knowledge of office technologies, including computers, printers, copiers, and typical office software. Knowledge of regulatory and practice standards of physical therapy.

A broad range of skills and abilities centered around patient focus, efficient performance, and teamwork. Ability to manage time, organize work, and follow policy and procedure.

Minimum Requirements:

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. Alaska Physical Therapy License and Basic Life Support certification.

Physical Requirements:

Use hands and arms to operate equipment, sit less than half the workday, stand and/or walk more than half the workday, and perform other physical demands.

Working Conditions:

Work in a standard clinical environment, with minimal travel required.
