General Dentist Opportunity at Newton Street Dental

We are seeking a skilled General Dentist to join our team at Newton Street Dental. Our practice is a beautiful, newly renovated facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology. We prioritize providing exceptional patient care and offer a unique opportunity for a dentist to grow and develop their skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients
  • Administer anesthetics as necessary and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide comprehensive oral healthcare
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
  • Stay current with advancements in dentistry and attend continuing education courses
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
  • Valid state dental license in good standing
  • Knowledge of dental systems and software, such as Dentrix
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and coding
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and interpretation
  • Understanding of human anatomy as it relates to oral health
