Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Intervention
    • Administer, score, and interpret psychological measures to support student learning and behavior.
    • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to address student needs.
    • Collaborate with teachers and families to develop and implement behavior intervention plans.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, teachers, and community members.
    • Provide consultation and support to teachers and families to address student learning and behavioral challenges.
    • Participate in IEP meetings and other educational planning processes.
  • School and Community Support
    • Develop and implement school-wide student management policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive school culture.
    • Provide support and resources to families and community members to promote student success.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Certification as a School Psychologist in the District of Columbia.
  • At least two years of experience as a school psychologist.
  • Experience working in an urban public school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
