Job Summary

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Regional Solo Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the region, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination vehicle to transport goods across the region
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain accurate records and logs, including hours of service, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance
  • Load and unload freight, or assist in the loading/unloading process as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test and background check
  • Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test
  • Hold a valid Class A CDL with relevant endorsements
  • At least 9 months of verifiable experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle within the past 3 years
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
