Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Tech to join our team at Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services. As a Cleaning Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients by performing various cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, as well as cleaning bathrooms, break rooms, and other areas.

Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning duties at a high level of quality
  • Work within production time budgets and supply budgets
  • Keep equipment clean and in good operating condition
  • Follow all safety rules and participate in company's safety program
  • Project a professional image and maintain good customer and public relations
  • Adhere to company rules, policies, and operating procedures
  • Work as part of a team in certain locations
  • Report any equipment breakdowns, unsafe conditions, customer complaints, and other problems to the site supervisor
  • Adhere to tardiness and absenteeism policy
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. You must also have dependable transportation or be able to get to and from the job site on schedule.

Language Skills

You must be able to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. You must also be able to print and speak simple sentences in English.

Reasoning Ability

You must be able to apply common-sense understanding to carry out one or two-step instructions. You must also be able to deal with standardized situations with only occasional variables.

Physical Demands

This role requires manual tasks that require strength and good physical health. You must be able to perform tasks such as standing, stepping, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and bending. You must also be able to use your hands and fingers to handle objects and equipment, and to push and pull, climb and balance, and talk and hear.

Work Environment

You will work in a variety of environments, including offices, warehouses, and industrial areas. You will be exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Compensation

The compensation for this role is $14.00 per hour.
