Job Description

We are seeking a Support Staff member to assist our team in Grass Valley, CA.

  • The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience working with special education and behavioral students.

About the Position:

This is a full-time position requiring approximately 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will work closely with the lead teacher to plan and implement classroom activities.

  • Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with lesson planning and delivery
  • Working with small groups and individual students to support their learning and development
  • Supervising students during play and other activities
  • Maintaining a safe and positive learning environment

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • 60+ hours of college credits
  • Associates degree or paraprofessional license/certification
  • Prior experience in a school/daycare setting or working with special education and behavioral students

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $45,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
