Mechanical Assembler Heat Treat Specialist

As a Mechanical Assembler Heat Treat Specialist, you will be responsible for performing tests on various parts to ensure customer specifications are being met.

You will also assemble parts to partially completed units using basic tools, fixtures, and gauges, and read work instructions and diagrams to complete assembly and heat treat functions.

Additionally, you will be required to efficiently multi-task workload meeting furnace schedules and testing requirements, and some furnace testing and troubleshooting will be required as part of your daily responsibilities.

You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and customer requirements, and communicating effectively with team members and management.

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tests on various parts to ensure customer specifications are being met.
  • Assemble parts to partially completed units using basic tools, fixtures, and gauges.
  • Read work instructions and diagrams to complete assembly and heat treat functions.

  • Perform furnace testing and troubleshooting as required.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma is required.
