Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering food and beverages to guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
  • Support the culinary team by preparing necessary items and replenishing supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with both guests and team members to enhance service quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and kitchen areas.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of service as defined by Forbes and AAA ratings.
  • Engage with guests to understand their dining preferences through attentive service.
  • Prepare dining areas by setting tables and ensuring all necessary items are available.
  • Collaborate with servers to fulfill guest requests and enhance satisfaction.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the hotel’s offerings, including food, beverages, and cocktails.
  • Verify that food orders are accurate before serving.
  • Facilitate communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
  • Handle various payment methods with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns calmly and efficiently, reporting issues to management as needed.

Schedule Requirements:

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, stand, and move with agility throughout the shift.
  • Capability to bend, stoop, and lift items up to 30 lbs as necessary.
  • Requires dexterity for tasks such as grasping, writing, and repetitive motions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a high-end restaurant environment preferred.
  • Certifications: TIPS and SERV Safe certifications are required.
  • Grooming Standards: All team members must maintain a polished and professional appearance.
