Job Summary:

Management Business Solutions is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing. This is a contract opportunity with potential for permanent placement.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect blood samples from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary puncture.

Prepare blood samples for laboratory testing by labeling, centrifuging, and splitting specimens as required.

Maintain accurate records of patient information, test results, and specimen handling.

Demonstrate excellent communication skills to explain the blood collection process to patients and answer their questions.

Work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to OSHA and DEP regulations.

Requirements:

Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.

Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

High School Diploma or GED.
