About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Breakfast Cook to join our team at Hy-Vee. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast foods, including vegetables, sides, meats, and breakfast dishes.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare cooking surfaces and ingredients for breakfast dishes
- Assemble and cook breakfast foods according to restaurant recipes and specifications
- Be responsible for all hot and cold foods, including heat-and-eat varieties
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
- Experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant setting
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as needed
