About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Breakfast Cook to join our team at Hy-Vee. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast foods, including vegetables, sides, meats, and breakfast dishes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare cooking surfaces and ingredients for breakfast dishes
  • Assemble and cook breakfast foods according to restaurant recipes and specifications
  • Be responsible for all hot and cold foods, including heat-and-eat varieties
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
Requirements
  • Experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant setting
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as needed
