Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as an Early Intervention Specialist. The successful candidate will provide in-home therapy services to children in their natural environments, working closely with parents and teachers to develop strategies for carryover and generalization of skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-home therapy services to children aged 0-3, focusing on early childhood development and intervention.
  • Collaborate with parents and teachers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness in children's development.
  • Develop and implement strategies for carryover and generalization of skills, ensuring that children can apply learned skills in various settings.
  • Participate in ongoing education and mentorship opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood development and intervention.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Experience working with children aged 0-3, preferably in early intervention settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
