Job Title: CT Technologist

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Baltimore, Maryland.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CT Technologist to perform computed tomography scans using prescribed techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT scans using prescribed techniques and protocols
  • Review requisitions to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Adjust equipment and select appropriate technical factors to produce proper radiographic exposure
  • Utilize standard positioning techniques to obtain optimal diagnostic images
  • Select appropriate protocol for each CT scan procedure
  • Ensure proper levels of density and contrast are utilized to obtain optimal quality images
  • Perform scanning procedures of various organs to localize site of pathological process
  • Complete examination in a timely manner, order IV and oral contrast in powerchart, and document administration of contrast and scans paperwork into Cerner
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in CT scanning
  • Required certifications: BLS, AART, AART advanced certificate
  • Preferred experience in: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction

Please note that all pay rates are estimates. Weekly gross pay is based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to allied positions only (50 miles from permanent address). Epic Travel FKA Emerald Staffing Group, Allied Job ID Pay package is based on 12.0 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
