Adecco is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator II to join our team in Southington. This role involves the safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment, ensuring continued production through troubleshooting and line clearance needs.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing start-up operations from a power-off state, including completing equipment and product paperwork.
- Conducting Level I preventive maintenance tasks.
- Participating in changeovers, including line clearance, system transactions, and documentation.
- Setting up work orders in electronic systems.
- Pulling test samples for quality control and removing completed production from machines.
- Filling component hoppers/bowls as required.
- Performing minor troubleshooting and escalating issues to technicians when necessary.
To be considered for this position, candidates should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use computers and understand related concepts.
- Sound judgment for machine troubleshooting and product disposition.
- Good interpersonal skills for communication at various levels within the organization.
Adecco offers a competitive salary of $23.50 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and a 401(k) plan.
Work EnvironmentThis role requires working in a production environment with moving equipment, potentially noisy conditions, and exposure to biohazards and chemicals. Candidates must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and push/pull up to 80 pounds.
The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $48,880-$52,800, based on a 40-hour workweek and 52 weeks of employment.
