AMIkids Alabama Family Services, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing community-based services to youth and their families. Our mission is to protect public safety and positively impact as many youth as possible through the efforts of a diverse and innovative staff.

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Functional Family Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide community-based intensive counseling services to youth and their families utilizing the Functional Family Therapy (FFT) Model.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide community-based intensive counseling services to youth and their families utilizing the FFT Model.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each family.
  • Conduct home visits, community meetings, and other sessions as needed to engage with families and provide support.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers, social workers, and law enforcement, to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting families.
  • Document progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.

**Requirements**

  • Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related Human Services field.
  • Ability to meet professional standards, licensure/certification and/or contract requirements.
  • Flexible to meet family availability including early mornings, late evenings and/or weekends.
  • Ability to travel.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Mental Health experience.
  • Therapist experience.
  • Family Therapy experience.
  • LPC, LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LCAS licensure.
