Job Description

Plasma Center Technician

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Plasma Center Technician. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our donors, ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors and staff, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our donors, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts, coordinate donor compensation, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to center processes.
  • Ensure a clean and professional work environment, attending team meetings, and problem-solving with your management team.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
  • English/Spanish proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $16.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and tuition reimbursement program.
