Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Mechanic to join our team at TAMS Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our liquid filling processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in the filling equipment.
  • Perform changeovers on filling machines and oversee others doing the same.
  • Perform preventive maintenance system tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and improve filling processes.
  • Install and integrate new equipment.
  • Solve quality and productivity problems on filling lines by making adjustments to the machines that result in consistently achieving the expected quality and productivity standards.
  • Use standard measuring tools (scale, depth gauge, etc.) to evaluate the quality of the products being manufactured.
  • Use hand tools safely to assemble the necessary tooling on the appropriate machine for the specific product that will be manufactured next.
  • Control the cleaning and storage of tooling.
  • Maintain a neat and clean work area at all times.
  • Follow and promote all established safety and environmental policies and practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
