The Cedars Textile Art Collaborative (TAC) presents a vibrant and engaging environment for our clients, and we are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Program Facilitator to enhance our TAC team.

In the role of Senior Program Facilitator, you will collaborate with retired individuals to assess and organize their daily activities. Participants can select from a variety of vocational opportunities, community-based engagements, volunteer initiatives, as well as on-site artistic and musical projects. The Cedars Seniors Program stands out as a unique offering in the region.

This position entails a degree of hands-on caregiving, including assistance with personal hygiene and toileting, as required by participants.

The TAC Program is situated on a picturesque 22-acre property, featuring a community garden, art barn studio, upgraded kitchen, weaving studio, and more.

If you are a patient, supportive, and innovative individual who enjoys empowering others to thrive, we encourage you to consider this opportunity. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a competitive pay rate of $21.75 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Preferred experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Willingness to learn and provide direct caregiving as necessary.
  • Experience in leading, advising, organizing, and motivating groups.
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to teach and impart skills relevant to the program areas at TAC.
  • Willingness to assist wherever needed.
  • Capability to pass an employment physical, including a TB test, and meet the physical demands of the role.
  • A valid DMV driver's license, with a minimum of three years of driving experience, and a readiness to operate a passenger van.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications, or the willingness to obtain them.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check with the FBI and DOJ.
  • A good sense of humor is an added advantage.
