This position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program. The person in this role will represent International SOS Government Medical Services and provide medical services to veterans.
Responsibilities:- Provide primary care services to veterans, including clinic appointments, follow-up care, and interpretation of lab results.
- Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists to provide care to inpatients.
- Develop and implement discharge education plans for patients.
- Communicate test results to patients and providers in accordance with VHA Directive 1088.
- Follow established medication policies and procedures.
- Current, full and unrestricted license in one or more state, commonwealth, territory or DC.
- Active certification in the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field within the last five years.
- Previous VA or Military experience preferred but not required.
This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Additional benefits include a 401k plan and paid time off and annual bonus.
