Retail Custodian

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Associate to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our store environment.

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning restrooms and floors.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures, including conducting regular safety sweeps and reporting any hazards or incidents to management.
• Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment as needed to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company sustainability guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall cleanliness and safety of the store.

To be successful in this role, you must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred qualifications include:

• Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
