Job Summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Analyst Molecular Lab to join our team. As a key member of our clinical ancillary systems team, you will be responsible for reviewing business goals and determining technical requirements for assigned platforms of applications for Molecular Lab.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic maintenance on laboratory computational equipment
  • Coordinate all IT hardware or software changes and adhere to MCIT Change Management Control
  • Work with team members to review IT infrastructure requirements, review security requirements, understand network requirements of new/future instruments and determine integration details to NYU's Laboratory Information System (LIS)
  • Develop and maintain in-house next-generation sequencing data analysis software and applications
  • Coordinate with genomic laboratory service technical staff to optimize and validate the NGS softwares and applications
Requirements
  • Typically requires 4 or more years of experience and BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Excellent computer and networking knowledge
  • Motivated individual - willing to continually learn new responsibilities
  • Knowledge of Radiation Oncology, Labs, Patient Transport, Cardiology, Dermpath and glucometers
  • Good communication (both written and oral) skills
