We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic imaging exams, including portable x-rays and EKGs, in a variety of settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and patient locations.
- Operate portable radiologic equipment at patient's bedside or other designated exam settings, ensuring safe operation and adherence to radiation safety protocols.
- Process images and review them for diagnostic quality prior to transmission, ensuring accurate and timely results.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, as well as assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving of equipment and systems as directed.
- Ensure that the vehicle is well-stocked with necessary supplies and operate in full compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations related to portable imaging procedures and standards.
- Perform training and orientation of other employees upon request by management and assist with order taking, validation of studies, communication with reading radiologists, customer call-backs, and other administrative and customer support functions as directed.
- Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds and walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment.
- Ability to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends.
- Proficiency in the use of company computers, systems, programs, and digital x-ray technology.

Our emergency medicine and internal medicine trained medical teams are equipped with all the tools necessary to treat common to complex injuries and illnesses.
We work closely with payers, providers, health systems, EMS, employer groups, and others to deliver care in the home to reduce unnecessary emergency room visits, hospital stays, and readmissions. Our acute care medical teams are available seven days a week, holidays, and can be requested online or by a quick phone call.
