About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Brookdale Senior Living. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, helping them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Recognize and respond to individual needs, encouraging independence and treating each resident with respect and dignity.
  • Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive care, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
  • Assist with household tasks, such as vacuuming, dusting, and laundry, to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification or training in a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and compassion.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds, with frequent standing and walking.
