Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution is a world-renowned center for marine, biomedical, and environmental science. We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team. As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects related to the application, integration, and/or incorporation of Indigenous Knowledge Systems into coastal and marine science, governance, and research paradigms.
About the PositionThis is a two-year appointment that offers opportunities for interdisciplinary research and collaboration with researchers across the Institution and the broader Woods Hole scientific community. You will be part of a dynamic team working on various projects, including coastal landform evolution and management, long-term ecosystem evolution, commercial fisheries management, aquaculture, and climate change mitigation.
The successful candidate will be appointed in one of our 5 Science Departments or our Marine Policy Center. You will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise while contributing to meaningful research that has real-world impacts.
