Welder/Fabricator

We are seeking a highly skilled TIG Welder to join our team at Edgewater Automation Llc. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating stainless steel components with precision and accuracy.

• Weld and fabricate stainless steel components using TIG welding techniques
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
• Collaborate with in-house engineering and off-site customers to produce quality products efficiently
• Problem solve and catch blueprint issues before welding something incorrectly
• Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications

• 5 years of experience as a TIG/MIG Welder with specific experience in welding stainless-steel
• High School Degree
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and organizational skills

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in an industrial manufacturing environment.

The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.

The employee must frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
