As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced physicians and staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive physical exams and obtain detailed medical histories to inform diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, charts, and other relevant information.
- Order and perform laboratory and diagnostic procedures as necessary to inform patient care.
- Determine preliminary diagnoses and develop therapeutic plans in collaboration with physicians.
- Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and health promotion strategies.
- Assist physicians in managing acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Provide continuity of care between physician visits and triage nursing and family calls.
- Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Minimum of three years of patient care experience in a clinic setting, with two years of experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of Tennessee, or current Physician Assistant licensure to practice in the State of Tennessee.
