The Space, Intelligence, and Weapon Systems (SIWS) sector is rapidly evolving, with a leadership team dedicated to recruiting and nurturing exceptional talent to support a diverse array of critical missions, including Commercial and Government Satellite Programs, Experimental Space Initiatives, Space Launch, Weapons Systems, and Maritime projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and spearhead analyses to optimize comprehensive system architectures for complex defense challenges.
  • Implement and guide interdisciplinary, collaborative strategies to plan, design, develop, and validate system solutions.
  • Establish and manage system performance specifications while integrating technical parameters.
  • Define overarching functional and performance criteria, along with verification methodologies, and track requirements through design and operational validation.
  • Formulate verification and validation strategies, processes, and plans to support program milestones.
  • Oversee the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system specifications.
  • Lead circuit design efforts, including PWB layout, thermal and power analyses, and EMI evaluations.
  • Analyze requirements to inform system architecture, hardware, software designs, and interface specifications.
  • Direct software development and integration efforts.
  • Ensure that system designs are rigorously tested and validated to meet operational and functional criteria.
  • Perform comprehensive analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, and other critical quality factors to ensure mission success.

Systems and Performance Analysis:

  • Assess systems under various scenarios to optimize overall weapon performance.
  • Develop and maintain analysis tools, including modeling and simulation tools to predict performance against evolving threats.
  • Lead the development and documentation of key algorithm capabilities for various DoD clients.

Model-Based Engineering Responsibilities:

  • Develop Model-Based Engineering (MBE) tools and processes.
  • Manage configuration, data, and workflow for program-specific MBSE tools.
  • Establish protocols for integrating engineering tools with MBSE.

Additional Information:

This role requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, necessitating US Citizenship as a condition of employment.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with at least 7 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in system architecture, requirements, interface definition, verification, and validation.
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering.
  • Background in integration and test engineering.
