The HR Generalist plays a vital role in cultivating a supportive workplace and nurturing effective employee relations within the organization. This position requires collaboration across various HR functions, including leave of absence management, to ensure adherence to policies and regulations. The HR Generalist will also evaluate employee feedback, turnover rates, and onboarding data to offer insightful recommendations to HR leadership. Additional responsibilities encompass organizing employee events and providing essential support to staff.
Core Responsibilities:
- Guide and support team members to foster positive employee relations.
- Ensure adherence to leave of absence policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with departmental leaders to sustain a constructive work atmosphere.
- Evaluate employee survey findings and propose strategies for enhancement.
- Oversee compliance with licensure requirements and maintain current certifications.
- Assist in auditing employee documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and support.
- Work with management to ensure accurate performance assessments.
- Build strong partnerships with department heads to proactively address employee relations.
- Investigate and resolve employee relations concerns thoroughly.
- Propose innovative approaches and procedures to enhance HR effectiveness.
- Organize and manage employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of HR experience, ideally within a healthcare environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
