Advanced Practice Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. As a key member of our clinical research team, you will play a critical role in the conduct of clinical trials and other research studies.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as study site clinician/sub-I on designated clinical trials, performing clinical and neurological assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, and providing feedback to study participants.
- Collaborate with Center Directors to develop and implement study recruitment plans, referral and screening procedures, and marketing materials.
- Work closely with study PIs to develop, coordinate, and implement research care plans for study participants, consulting with research and clinical care teams as needed.
- Manage designated clinical trial staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and corrective actions.
- Participate in internal and external meetings and committees, supporting the advancement of clinical research and healthcare.
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program, with a Master's degree or higher required.
- Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License or North Carolina Board of Nursing Registered Nurse license, with certification in respective practice specialty.
- Eligibility for Research Administration Certification and Basic Life Support Certification.
- Experience in clinical trials as a site Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator, with experience working in a Clinical Research Organization or Academic Medical Center.
