Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language capabilities, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs, addressing communication challenges and supporting educational objectives.
  • Deliver direct therapy services, focusing on various aspects of speech and language development, including articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and social communication skills.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and colleagues to integrate therapy goals into the academic curriculum, ensuring seamless communication and support.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of assessments, progress notes, and intervention outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • State licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred, but not required.
