Job Title: Healthcare Coordinator Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Healthcare Coordinator Specialist. This role is responsible for scheduling appointments, coordinating with medical staff, and ensuring that patients receive the care they need in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:)

  • Schedule appointments for patients with medical staff and maintain accurate records of patient appointments and medical staff schedules.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure that patients receive the care they need, including verifying patient insurance eligibility and entering patient information into the system.
  • Communicate with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary information, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Maintain neat and orderly work area, adhering to RHC policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Treat patients, visitors, and coworkers with respect and dignity, providing coverage for absent team members as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated experience with Windows-based programs and exceptional verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of Medical terminology and ability to prioritize, problem solve, and multi-task.
  • Two years' work experience in medical practice or clinic administration, with medical billing and electronic medical records (EMR) system experience preferred.

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
