Twin Restaurant Holding, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitor / Busser to join our team. As a key member of our cleaning and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to our uniform standards and maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- Implement and maintain our cleaning and sanitation policies and procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff.
- Maintain clean and organized stations and equipment, and ensure that all areas of the restaurant are clean and free of clutter.
- Ensure that all Health and Safety Standards, Safety and Sanitation, and GHS requirements are followed at all times.
- Work effectively as a team member to achieve our cleaning and maintenance goals.
- Train using tablets or computer to ensure that you are up-to-date on all cleaning and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties of the restaurant, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning tables, and other tasks as needed.
- Proven experience as a Janitor Busser or in a similar cleaning and maintenance role.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and understand our cleaning and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions and deal with standardized situations.
- Must attend orientation and agree to our policies and procedures as outlined in our training program.
- Must attend and successfully complete our training program prior to working a shift without supervision.
The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, using hands and fingers to handle objects, and talking or hearing. The janitor busser may be required to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. The work environment may include exposure to fumes or airborne particles from the kitchen, wet and/or humid conditions in the dish area or walk-in cooler, and toxic or caustic chemicals when cleaning.
