About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Ambulatory Surgery Center in Towson, MD. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our fertility treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems and formulate patient care plans
  • Perform initial preoperative assessment, develop a plan of care, and explain the subsequent phases of surgery
  • Provide comfort measures and psychological support to patients and family members
  • Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation
  • Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed
  • Provide patient education
Requirements
  • Active RN license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • 2-3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience strongly preferred
  • Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
  • Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
