We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Independence House. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating total nursing care for residents, providing education and support to families, and promoting a culture of excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities- Coordinate nursing care for residents, ensuring that their needs are met and their dignity is respected.
- Participate in resident and family teaching, providing education on health and wellness, disease management, and medication adherence.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote resident independence and quality of life.
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition, ensuring timely interventions and referrals as needed.
- Provide leadership and guidance to colleagues, promoting a culture of safety, respect, and open communication.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Licensed Registered Nurse with the State of Ohio.
- Maximum exposure in regard to universal precautions.
- Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills required.
This position requires a full range of body motion with intermittent walking, lifting, bending, climbing, squatting, kneeling, twisting, sitting, and standing. The associate will be required to lift 50 pounds or more. The position requires individuals to lift above the shoulders. The associate must have corrected vision and hearing in the normal range. Excellent verbal communications skills are required to perform daily tasks.
