Focus Staff is in search of a traveling MRI Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional imaging services while traveling to various locations.

We are currently seeking a Licensed MRI Specialist who is dedicated and enthusiastic. Candidates should be prepared to foster a supportive, positive, and professional atmosphere.
Contract Assignment – 13 Weeks (Temporary)
Shift: 4x10 Days

Ideal candidates will demonstrate exceptional efficiency and meticulous attention to detail, possessing a strong understanding of procedures and patient safety. Compassion and sensitivity are essential traits for this profession. The preferred candidate will also exhibit critical thinking skills and the ability to respond swiftly in emergencies.
Qualifications:- Minimum of two (2) years of continuous recent experience as an MRI Specialist, fully proficient in all duties of an MRI Technologist II.
- License in the required state.
- BLS certification.
- Comprehensive knowledge of MRI protocols and procedures.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Willingness to learn applications relevant to the position.
- At least 2 years of hospital experience in a clinical setting; EP preferred.
Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:- Operate MRI equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
- Perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care.
- Conduct patient studies according to established protocols.
- Manage imaging equipment to provide quality diagnostic services.
- Explain MRI procedures to patients, addressing their concerns with tact and courtesy.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed for both patients and staff.
- Train and orient new hires and students in MRI technology.
