As a Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Oncology unit, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients facing cancer treatment. Your contributions will directly impact the lives of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments to evaluate patient health status, adhering to established care standards.
- Develop, implement, and assess patient care plans to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Deliver direct nursing care while supervising non-licensed staff in accordance with established protocols.
- Provide education and emotional support tailored to the individual needs of patients and their families.
- Administer specialized treatments, including chemotherapy and blood transfusions, while managing complex patient care scenarios.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
- A degree from an accredited nursing program.
- A valid nursing license in the state of practice.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Current BLS certification.
- Prior clinical experience in a relevant setting is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency.
